CHARLES & KEITH and PEDRO have always been at the forefront, not only in fashion but also regarding service standards. The most recent noteworthy example of this passion for excellence is the business trip involving select members of the CHARLES & KEITH GROUP Vietnam team to Singapore. The trip has been organized in order to keep management up to speed with the latest updates in training orientation and brand planning.
From the 20th to the 23rd of April 2023, two representatives from the Maison RMI’s L&D department, an abbreviated term for ‘Learning & Development’, which is part of the Human Resources department and responsible for supporting and training staff to ensure performance and promote the ability of the staff, had the opportunity to meet other representatives at the headquarters of CHARLES & KEITH INTERNATIONAL in Singapore to exchange and share the common direction of the brand in the future.
The four days of exchange and sharing based on the spirit of Integration – Experience – Engagement has attracted a lot of attention and interest from the staff thanks to the deep knowledge and lessons imparted, through practical application activities and engaging entertainment games.
The two Vietnamese representatives have the opportunity to study and gain new knowledge with the international representatives.
In the first two days (20 – 21/04), the whole program kicked off with participants getting acquainted with one another and introducing the training plan that will take place in the following four days.
The plan is designed to include emphasizing brand knowledge and learning best practices from international representatives. Moreover, the participants were also updated with new knowledge about the MBTI personality test to understand themselves and others, thereby building a more professional working environment.
Applying the MBTI test to operations is one of the most effective methods for building a healthy and understanding work environment.
On the third day (22/04), after gaining in-depth background knowledge about brands and psychology, participants had the opportunity to encounter reality in a case study session at the store. This is an opportunity for all employees to understand how the store operates, thereby building the most innovative and applicable processes.
The lesson was extremely interesting with practical knowledge shared by experts of CHARLES & KEITH INTERNATIONAL.
The last day (23/04), after going through the tests and practical experience, was the time for all participants to sit back and complete the international standard training plan that is suitable for different markets.
Although it was the last day, the spirit of learning was still very high. Specifically, the Science of Style class was attended and enjoyed by many staff on 23/04.
The exchange and training session took place successfully under the guidance of highly qualified trainers. This is also an opportunity for CHARLES & KEITH and PEDRO brands to connect more deeply with international flagship stores in updating new orientations on core values, training processes, and competency evaluation criteria, etc.
Through this business trip, Maison RMI, CHARLES & KEITH and PEDRO management and staff want to accumulate more valuable international lessons and knowledge in order to constantly upgrade the staff and sales service in the Vietnam market.
