The opening event of the first LUSH store in Vietnam took place on the B1 floor of Vincom Dong Khoi, 72 Le Thanh Ton, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, with the successful participation of more than 3,000 customers and the most famous KOLs in the beauty and cosmetics industry.
The shopping atmosphere at Vincom Dong Khoi from June 2nd to June 6th, 2023, was more vibrant with vivid colors and sweet scents of LUSH – a handmade cosmetics brand from the UK.

Customers are eager to experience LUSH’s unique products that are handcrafted using fresh, non-toxic, and non-animal-tested ingredients such as bath bombs – effervescent bath tablets, haircare – hair care, skincare – face care, body – body care, fragrance – perfume and the NAKED line of products without outer packaging.
The shelves display LUSH’s perfumes attracting many customers.
The most prominent in the center of the store is the ‘Fresh Table’ – LUSH’s famous display table with fresh face masks smelling like world-famous desserts. Specifically, over the weekend from June 3rd to June 6th, 2023, at this Fresh Table, customers can also participate in a DIY workshop with Japanese Compounder – Mr. Tsuyoshi Shiokawa to experience making bath bombs from fresh ingredients.

The atmosphere at LUSH was warmed up by a cozy opening party with the presence of many distinguished guests, media reporters, and KOLs such as Diep Le, Call Me Duy, Nicky Khanh Ngoc, Misoa, etc. At the event, LUSH representatives Mr. Steve Brackstone – Senior Manager, and Ms. Gloria Pavía Lamas – Communications Manager for Europe shared with the guests more about the vision and responsibilities of LUSH.

Mr. Steve Brackstone has shared the reason why LUSH was no longer active on social media platforms such as Facebook, Tiktok, and Instagram: “On Black Friday 2021, LUSH decided to quit Meta and TikTok because we believe that it is not a safe place, and we do not want to ignore the serious effects of social media on people. These foundations are against all values that LUSH stands for, which are peace, self-love, kindness, and goodness towards self and others. This encourages us to move away from these channels and innovate to find ways to connect with our customers to create meaningful experiences that drive goodness.”
One of LUSH’s breakthrough innovations is the NAKED product line with no packaging. Steve Brackstone proudly shared: “We are leading the way by inventing breakthrough solid-state products that eliminate the use of packaging. Our solid product saves millions of plastic bottles from being produced, transported, and consumed every year. One LUSH shampoo bar is equivalent to three medium-sized plastic bottles. Since 2005, we have sold over 60 million shampoo bars, saving 180 million plastic bottles from being produced.”
