Thanks to Topman, we now know more about Sang Woo Kim

Topman offers a ‘Private View’ into the life of supermodel, artist, influencer Sang Woo Kim.

Topman debuted its online video series “Private Views”. Serving as an all access pass into the lives of four creative influencers, the project focuses on originality and what that means for each individual. For the second installment of its “Private Views” campaign, the trendy fast-fashion label shines the spotlight on Seoul-born supermodel and artist Sang Woo Kim.

The film provides an intimate portrait that takes us into Kim’s mind, revealing his sources for inspiration and the artist’s preferred method for styling the brand’s luxe offerings. An international star raised in London, Kim was the first Korean model to walk Burberry’s runway in 2014. Kim guides the lens through London’s backstreets and into his creative world. By welcoming the camera into his studio, viewers are given a glimpse into the private pages of Kim’s sketchbook as he prepares for his upcoming show next January at Berlin’s Magic Beans Gallery.

Topman uses this opportunity to ask the model-turned-artist how growing up in London has inspired his creativity and defined who he is today. Kim responds, stating that style comes from comfort – a belief that can be seen in his choice of key transitional pieces such as pinstriped co-ord joggers and a crisp button down shirt. Pairing these looks with his well-worn Dr. Martens, the creative completes his effortless #modeloffduty look.
