The Rolling Stones’ new album, Blue & Lonesome is just out and brings a whole new look, heralded by Kristen Stewart, who stars in the video for their latest single, called “Ride ‘Em on Down.” The song, a cover of a 1955 Eddie Taylor track, is bluesy and familiar and just rock ’n’ roll enough to encourage, in Stewart’s case, some gyrating around a Los Angeles gas station.
And for the Stewart diehards, the video is all vintage Mustang cruising and sun-drenched solo appeal is just perfect for the star. She even does some errands, evades a creepy guy, eats a lollipop, drives recklessly, briefly spies a zebra, and flips the bird at the camera, all of that stuffs but still looking gorgeous enjoying herself.
