When it comes to putting your daily look together, Ted knows it’s about more than just chucking on the first things that come to hand from the top of your laundry pile. To truly dress for success, you have to know how to put an outfit together with punch, panache and more than a little personality.
With that in mind, Ted enlisted the help of some of his stylish friends, a mix of bloggers, stylists, and photographers, to demonstrate how they’d curate a #TedToToe look. They were brought together in the basement of Ted’s Floral St flagship for an afternoon of conversation, discovery, and experimentation with Ted’s SS17 menswear collections.
The differing ways that the gents made Ted’s style their own was a bit of a spectacle to behold: the discussion focused on rich textures and key details, as well as fit and subtle silhouette changes. While Fredrik and John chose to mix textures along a colour theme, Oliver and Chez chose to add neutral-colored accessories to contrast.
Eshan and Ashley decided to size up their trousers and belt them in to play with proportion, while both Mat and Zak opted to incorporate Ted’s signature prints into their looks. The overarching theme though was a cool, minimal approach to summer dressing, with clean trainers and navy jackets being the key pieces around which to build an outfit.
