5 TIPS TO KEEP YOUR BIKINI LOOKING NEW ALL YEAR LONG

Whether you’ve spent on a cheap or expensive new bikini, it’s important to take care of your suit to make it last longer than just one season.

1. Wash after each wear

Chlorine, salt, sunscreen, deodorant, and your body’s natural oils can stain your bikini after time. Extend the life of the fabric by making sure to wash your suit after each use.

2. Always hand wash

Sure, it’s much easier to just toss your suit in the washing machine (we’re totally guilty of this) but trust us, it’s worth taking the time to hand wash! Our bikini washing formula? Combine cold water & a capful of gentle laundry detergent. Let soak for 5-10 minutes. Rinse & lay flat to dry.

3. Be gentle

To maintain the elasticity of your bikini, avoid loosening fabric by aggressively wringing out your bikini or rubbing them against rough surfaces. Remember to use a towel when sitting on rough surfaces to prevent bikini snags. Remember…no one likes saggy bikini butt!

4. Never dry in direct sunlight

If you’re drying your swimsuit outside, stay away from hanging it in direct sunlight. Drying in the sun too long can cause discoloring, and no one wants to wear a faded bikini (yuck)!

5. Always air dry

Never, never iron or throw your suit in the dryer! Just like sunlight, too much heat can cause fading or even worse damage to the fabric. Let it dry the good old-fashioned way & hang dry.
